How your Legacy could benefit
A large amount of the support we receive comes from gifts in wills. It is thanks to these donations that we are able to continue improving the facilities and care for our patients, visitors and staff – enabling us to provide the best possible service for local people.
We feel a special sense of privilege whenever Northamptonshire Health Charitable Fund is mentioned in a will. A gift in a will is an honour, it reminds us of the commitment our supporters feel and helps us care for future generations.
Making a will and keeping it up to date allows you to say who will benefit from your possessions and property. It also gives you the opportunity to provide for family and friends, and remember favourite charities.
More and more people are asking for donations to be given to a favourite charity in lieu of flowers at their funeral. You can also include a request for this in your will, giving the details of the charity or charities that you would like to benefit.
Knowing that you are intending to remember any of the hospitals or services supported by Northamptonshire Health Charitable Fund in your will would be a tremendous help to our long term planning. For this reason, and to give us the opportunity to say thank you, we would be keen to hear from you. You can be assured that this is in no way binding and the information would be treated in the strictest confidence.
Every year the support given through legacies helps enhance the lives of people cared for by NGH and NHFT. Recent legacies have been used to purchase equipment at St Mary’s Hospital Kettering and computer equipment to support Vitalpac at NGH.
